Herb Gardner Park
is a small green space park located downtown on the main street
(Oliver Street) of the community of Williams Lake, British Columbia,
Canada. The park is dedicated to Williams Lake's first mayor -
Herb Gardner. He played a big role in the development of the community
from 1953 to 1971.
The park consists of a small sliver of green space with a few
picnic tables situated under the shade of trees, looking out onto
Oliver Street. The park is used as a resting and conversation
spot conveniently located at the foot of the retail sector of
the community.
How to Get to Herb Gardner
Park: Travel Hwy 97 into
the community of Williams Lake, BC. At the major intersection
continue down Oliver Street into the downtown retail sector. On
you right is the park.
